The Carlo Acutis Foundation was founded in 2013 in Rome by Antonia Salzano, the mother of Blessed Carlo Acutis, with the mission of extending her son’s vision of spreading devotion to the Eucharistic Miracles, Marian Apparitions, and the lives of the Saints through international exhibitions.
As part of its global outreach, the Foundation expanded its mission to Asian countries, appointing Mr. Joyce Aprem as President and Mr. Ajeesh Benny as Vice President. The Asian operations are directed by Fr. Ephrem Kunnappally, the first English biographer of Carlo Acutis. The Foundation is also officially registered under the Indian Trust Act.
Fr. Ephrem Kunnappally, a priest of the Diocese of Miao, Arunachal Pradesh, leads the mission in India under the patronage of Rt. Rev. Bishop George Palliparambil, SDB.
